Concert Notes

× Michael Christie, guest conductor and Music Director of the Minnesota Opera, makes his ESO debut as the orchestra plays three distinctly different works. The Brahms Symphony is described as “tranquil and peaceful ending with a triumphant mood!” Enjoy music from Korngold’s Much Ado About Nothing Suite, making one feel that “a star danced, and under that I was born,” and also the exciting Mozetich’s Concerto for Bassoon and Strings with Marimba featuring the wide-range of sounds performed by guest bassoon soloist, Michael Sweeney.
